Armored mouth by Urus-28 Armored mouth by Urus-28
Here is the sequel of my armored eye as the for the eye the needed to make it was very long, probably more than 50hrs? Technics used on the mounth are very varied : the background is made with stamped paint, standard painting, color pencil and caligraphic pen. The main subject was made with color pencil and aquarel pencil. I tested a lot of technic on this work and it is probably a reason for the making lenght.
I'm really proud of this work :)

The armored eye and armored ear

Merci =)

Hee hee. De rien! I usually think of beauty as serious, though it can be lighthearted. But I sense that this one definitely doesn't want to be taken entirely seriously. Still, it is unusual and creative, and I like it.

It rules. i REALLY like your style. The golden hightech parts combined with beautiful patterns and enigma. The light seems to be coming from different angels but I think that it gives it a "spotlight" feel to the mouth. why cant i paint stuff like this :)

very good

Well actually the lights comes from different points, but i have no idea if it is just or not and well it doesn't matter, shadows are here only to give deepness and spotlight on the mouth.

Oh and for some actualy commentry; everything inside the triangle is amazing, of course, but the background, the background really stands out to me, it's awesome, and I have no idea how you made it (even with your description), ut's so textured, congrats on the great work.

Well, do the background is not difficult, i will try to explain with my poor english...
The base colors are yellow, orange and brown, to apply them you take a ball of paper (yes a ball, take some hygienic paper put in ball), put some liquid paint on it and stamp your paper with your ball tool, to make a good texture you should use different colors. Like this you have the base :)
After than you take a caligraphic pen or 0.1 black or brown pencil and give some details following the paint you made, you can creat cracks dans other things.
Finally i use some color pencils to give shadows and light (well you can also use paintbrush or airbrush).
There is an other work i made with this technic for background [link]
