Duncan walking on this strange coast meet a paper ball robot.

With the help of your comment, i've edited my first picture to make a better one : the shadow of the character is now far better.
Thanx for your help :D

Sky from a windows wallpaper (I don't remember).

It can be seen as science fiction or surrealism, it's somewhere in between =D

An updated 'Elephant of the Celibes' meets a psychologically disturbed 'migrant angel of the pre-Third' from a story by J.G. Ballard, somewhere between The Terminal Beach and the 'burning world' of The Drought. Work like this would have been ideal for the early short stories and global disaster novels of one of Britain's greatest surrealist writers. I used to love some of the old 'golden age' SF covers, especially the more 'modern art' style abstract ones. For J.G. Ballard I even created a few of my own. This little collection aegiandyad.deviantart.com/gall… demonstrates just how influential Ballard has been.

I see it more as science fiction but surreal can work too, it's more a question of how you think the global universe of this picture =)

This is great. Reminds me of the images you get on the covers of SF magazines and anthologies.

This is really creative and interesting. I love the lighting. One thing seems strange to me, though - the way the bird in the front seems so photo-clear. It just seems odd for some reason. It seems like this is almost in deep focus, perhaps...

Have you read... I think it was called "The Lost Thing" ?
I found the picture book in my library, when I was about 12. I loved it.
It has a similar feel to it.
It was about large, bizarre robots that were ignored (SEP) by everyone.
And this guy, organising his bottletop collection near the ebach, spots one.
A sort of kettle/crab thing.

:+fav: Brilliant work!

This piece took my breath away. Amazing job. The atmosphere you created is quite impressive, but I think it is the powder like texture of the shadowing that impressed me the most.

Haha intéressant comme montage, très créatif! ;)
