I wanted to make this picture in a simple way but in fact i has needed a full week of work to make it. My idea to make a gas giant atmosphere is probably very far from reality in particular for lighting but i think the picture is quite nice like this.

The sky has been edited from a light to dark version, the dark is far better i think, giving a more space idea to the picture :D Thank you for the suggestion :thumbusp:

:wow: Just stunning! I'm don't now much about digital painting so I really can't give a advanced critique, but the sky looks gorgeous. I really can't see any flaw on it and everything looks like it was well thought. I think it's really a shame that it's not one of your most noticed pieces! :worship:

Well there are probably some points to improve on it, probably in the texture of the asteroid i think. But i will not rework on it.
It's not a big problem for me to have some of my works unseen, i know it's not directly linked to the quality of my work.

...and the ropes will be made of titanium? Totally bizarre concept but also fun. The bird at the bottom cannot be your average bird to survive these conditions?

:lol: The bird appears to be an animal but in fact it's a small spacecraft, you can't see the difference due to small size of the picture, in origianl size you can see texture details ;)

i really like the quality of this work, and minus the asian architecture influence, the stuff in this image really looks alien. Nice colors, its just refreshing.

It's the first time i use asian architecture in a picture, i wanted it to make a variation of the standard sci-fi architecture ;) Thanx for your FAV :D

You have such a wonderful imagination. Beautiful color and composition.. I really like the work on the sky/clouds and those giant yellow baloons.

This reminds me a lot of "Castle in the Sky"
