Odin ruler of Asgard...
The title by itself is a promise for epic image with an impact strong like a hammer strike.
And well... I'm not disappointed on this side. The paining is really strong with a very high contrast movement and a very nice Frazetta look.
The composition is also great with a pyramidal shape ending at the face of Odin, perfect to make it a strong element of the picture.
The technique is really great mixing spaces with very small details and other rawer in their rendering. I don't see strong problem of anatomy.
I don't expect something original, a classic view of the barbaric ages, and well it's not original.
The only problem I have with this picture is really in the impact and the cause of this impact. The picture is about Odin, and what create the strongest impact ? The wolves... This is probably due to the white colour and the contrast they create with the general darkness of the picture. But clearly it seems you have nothing to fear about Odin compare to the wolves.
Still an great work, no doubt on that, congratulations.
Wow, thank you very much for your critique. I read it a couple time and you
write it fantastic. Itīs easy to recognizable that you know a lot about painting
and all the details like pyramid composition and the Frazetta Style are true.
Thank you veeeeeeery much :-D
